Heriot Watt University has a rural campus located on the western edge of the City of Edinburgh. We worked with the University to refresh their campus masterplan and develop a strategy for delivering a new masterplan and progress 480 new student residential apartments as a first phase. Our proposals delivered a courtyard architecture that was simply detailed externally but internally opened onto a new garden. The accommodation has been described as best in class compared to other universities with generously proportioned rooms and excellent amenities.
