The site for this project stretched across the depth of a city block. Our masterplan proposal was to cut this urban block in half by turning the residential development inward, creating a new public space and through-fare. This has opened up a new east/west pedestrian link between the city's shopping district and the new financial quarter.
The project retained a listed façade on the primary frontage of Oswald Street and replaced a fire-damaged derelict warehouse building.
