The worlds of regeneration and education exist in different political spaces and rarely overlap. Consequently regeneration agencies across the UK are not fully aware of the enormous potential that can be developed by integrating life long learning models into community initiative. Closer working between regeneration and education sectors could deliver radical transformation in our communities especially in areas of deprivation.
